Eight years ago I released my debut novel, Kilroy Was Here, and immediately went to work on the sequel. Little did I know that sequel would get set aside in favor of another story focused on the alien-hunting book club from Kilroy Was Here.

This one took longer than I wanted but I'm so proud of it. I got to play with the budding literary universe and find new ways of telling the story of a ragtag group of book lovers trying to save the world from an extraterrestrial Y2K plot.

The really exciting result of writing Someone Else's Book Club was the four other stories it inspired that are currently in various drafts. I'll make an announcement about the next book in early 2026.
